The future
flies on hydrogen

HYDRONEG helps Indian drone operators replace LiPo and Li-ion packs with hydrogen fuel-cell power — longer missions, faster turnarounds, zero boring recharge queues. Maximum flight time.

Why hydrogen

Electric flight time was never the limit — the battery was.

Every commercial drone operator eventually hits the same wall: a fleet that spends more time on the charger than in the air. Hydrogen proton-exchange-membrane (PEM) fuel cells turn compressed hydrogen and ambient air directly into DC power, so a drone keeps flying as long as it has fuel — not as long as a battery can hold a charge.

Because the fuel cell is a straight swap for the battery bay on 6S–16S platforms, most airframes used for agriculture, mapping, LiDAR, powerline and pipeline inspection can be converted without a redesign.

Direct battery swap

Fuel cell modules are built to 6S–16S voltage ranges and follow load demand automatically, just like the pack they replace.

What it saves

Time in the air, electricity on the ground

Three places hydrogen changes the economics of a drone fleet.

⏱

Sortie time

Swap a spent canister and relaunch in minutes instead of waiting out a 45–90 minute recharge cycle — a survey crew can complete more sorties in the same working day.

⚡

Grid electricity

No bank of chargers running through the day. Hydrogen is compressed off-site or refilled from a local electrolyser, so peak-hour charger load on the site supply disappears.

₹

Cost per flight hour

Fewer battery replacements (LiPo packs typically degrade after 200–300 cycles), fewer standby packs to buy, and fewer flights needed to cover the same area.

🏭

Agriculture

Longer spraying and spreading sorties across large plantation blocks with fewer pit-stops for the ground crew.

Where it fits

Built for the missions that outgrow a battery

Mapping and LiDAR corridors, powerline and pipeline inspection runs, plantation spraying, and search-and-rescue sweeps all share one constraint: mission length is capped by pack endurance. Hydrogen removes that cap.
